Summer is on the way
We know everything feels better in summer, but Budapest has a special vibe from June to September. Cafés, restaurants and bars are full of people from dusk till dawn, and many events are waiting for you!
Budapest is beautiful in every season of the year, but there is no doubt the best things happen in summer!
BelFeszt is a free music festival that takes over the inner city for three days. Visitors can enjoy live jazz, pop, rock and folk concerts – a great party to kick off the summer season. The Buda Castle Beer Festival is now an annual event and brings 200 domestic and international beer types to beer-lovers.
Have a sleepover with history and culture and spend the night at Budapest’s museums in The Night of the Museums, when museums open their doors to visitors until 2:30 AM. Sziget Festival is one of the biggest music festivals in Europe and lasts for a week in August – more details on szigetfestival.com.
